Legal TermsLast updated: 14 May 2026

Please read before confirming a trip with HikeSike Travels.

These terms explain how enquiries, quotations, bookings, payments, changes, cancellations, refunds, and trip support work when you use HikeSike Travels. Booking-specific written terms shared with your itinerary may contain additional details.

Bookings

A trip is confirmed only after availability, package details, and payment terms are accepted.

Payments

Prices, advances, balances, taxes, and supplier charges are communicated before confirmation.

Changes

Date, hotel, route, or guest changes depend on availability and supplier rules.

Support

Our team supports confirmed travellers before and during the trip through official contact channels.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the HikeSike Travels website, enquiry forms, travel planning services, quotations, itineraries, and bookings.

By using our website, submitting an enquiry, making a payment, or confirming a booking, you agree to these terms. If you are booking on behalf of other travellers, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for them.

2. Travel Enquiries and Quotations

Enquiries submitted through the website, phone, email, social media, or any other channel are requests for information and do not create a confirmed booking.

Package prices, hotel availability, transport options, inclusions, exclusions, and offers may change until the booking is confirmed. A quotation is valid only for the period mentioned in that quotation.

3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after HikeSike Travels accepts the booking request and receives the required advance or full payment, as applicable.

The confirmed itinerary, hotel category, travel dates, guest count, payment schedule, cancellation terms, and special notes shared with you form part of your booking contract.

4. Prices, Payments, and Taxes

All prices are shown or quoted in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Prices may include or exclude taxes, convenience charges, entry fees, permits, meals, transfers, insurance, or other services as clearly mentioned in the package or quotation.

You must pay the booking advance and balance amount by the due dates communicated to you. Delay in payment may lead to cancellation, change in availability, price revision, or supplier penalties.

Payments should be made only through payment methods shared by HikeSike Travels. We are not responsible for payments made to unofficial accounts or unauthorised persons.

5. Cancellations, Refunds, and No-Show

Cancellation and refund rules vary by destination, hotel, transport provider, activity vendor, season, and package type. The cancellation policy shared for your confirmed booking will apply.

Refunds, where applicable, are processed after supplier confirmation and deduction of cancellation charges, bank/payment gateway charges, taxes, and any non-refundable costs.

No-show, late arrival, unused services, early checkout, missed transfers, or voluntary trip interruption may not be eligible for refund.

6. Changes by Traveller

Requests to change travel dates, guest names, rooming, hotels, routes, transport, activities, or itinerary items are subject to availability and supplier approval.

Additional costs, fare differences, cancellation charges, or amendment fees must be paid by the traveller before the change is confirmed.

7. Changes by HikeSike or Suppliers

Travel services depend on hotels, transport operators, activity providers, local authorities, weather conditions, road conditions, and other third parties.

If a confirmed service becomes unavailable, we may offer a suitable alternative of similar category where reasonably possible. Any unavoidable change will be communicated as early as practical.

8. Traveller Responsibilities

Travellers are responsible for sharing accurate names, ages, contact details, ID proof, health information relevant to the trip, and special requirements before confirmation.

Travellers must carry valid identity documents, permits, tickets, medicines, suitable clothing, and any documents required by hotels, transport providers, local authorities, or destination rules.

You agree to follow local laws, hotel rules, transport rules, safety instructions, and reasonable guidance from our team or suppliers during the trip.

9. Third-Party Services

Hotels, vehicles, flights, trains, activities, local guides, restaurants, permits, and attractions may be operated by independent third parties.

HikeSike Travels coordinates these services but does not control every third-party act, delay, closure, service standard, accident, or operational decision.

10. Limitation of Liability

We work to provide reliable travel planning and support, but travel involves inherent risks and external dependencies.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HikeSike Travels will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive losses, including loss caused by weather, natural events, government action, strikes, traffic, road closure, medical emergency, traveller conduct, or third-party service failure.

11. Website Use and Intellectual Property

You may use the website for personal travel planning only. You must not copy, misuse, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit website content without written permission.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.

13. Updates to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

For confirmed bookings, the booking-specific terms shared at confirmation will continue to apply unless both parties agree otherwise.
