Important booking and cancellation policies. Please read carefully before booking.
Terms & Conditions
A minimum 30% of the total package cost must be paid to confirm your booking. Any payment below 30% will be treated as a Token Advance and will not be considered a confirmed booking. Token Advance is strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and not eligible for cancellation, rescheduling, or adjustment under any circumstances. The remaining amount required to complete the 30% advance must be paid within the timeline communicated by your HikeSike travel advisor. Failure to do so may result in automatic cancellation of the booking without any refund of the Token Advance. The remaining 70% of the package cost must be paid as per the payment schedule shared by HikeSike and must be fully cleared before the last 2 days of the tour . Payments may be collected in instalments during the tour. Failure to make any scheduled payment may result in immediate suspension or cancellation of the remaining tour services. HikeSike shall not be liable for any loss, delay, inconvenience, or additional expenses arising from delayed or incomplete payments. All bookings are subject to payment confirmation, and HikeSike reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed reservation due to non-payment or delayed payment. HikeSike shall not be held responsible for any delay, disruption, cancellation, loss, or additional expenses caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to road blockages, landslides, adverse weather conditions, train or flight delays/cancellations, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, civil unrest, or any other force majeure event. HikeSike reserves the right to cancel any tour due to operational constraints or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund of all payments received by HikeSike will be provided. However, HikeSike shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including personal expenses such as flight/train tickets booked separately, hotel bookings, leave from work, or other incidental costs. HikeSike reserves the right to change the confirmed hotel, homestay, vehicle, or other travel services due to operational requirements or unforeseen circumstances. Wherever possible, prior notice will be provided, and a similar or upgraded service will be arranged at no additional cost to the traveller. By making any payment, the traveller acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to HikeSike's Payment, Cancellation & Reschedule Policy and Terms & Conditions.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via Email or WhatsApp. 30 days or more before the journey date: 10% of the total package cost will be deducted as cancellation charges. Alternatively, the booking may be rescheduled by paying a 5% rescheduling fee. The rescheduled booking must be utilized within 1 year from the original journey date, subject to availability and applicable fare differences. 29 to 15 days before the journey date: 20% of the total package cost will be deducted as cancellation charges. Alternatively, the booking may be rescheduled by paying a 15% rescheduling fee , subject to availability and applicable fare differences. Less than 15 days before the journey date: 100% of the advance amount will be charged as cancellation charges. No refund or reschedule will be permitted. No Show: Failure to report for the tour without prior notice will result in forfeiture of 100% of the amount paid . A rescheduled booking cannot be cancelled, refunded, transferred, or rescheduled again under any circumstances. Any request to reduce the number of travellers, shorten the itinerary, remove destinations, reduce hotel nights, or discontinue the tour after booking confirmation shall be treated as a partial cancellation. Refunds, if any, will be subject to recoveries from hotels, transport providers, permits, and other service providers. The package cost for the remaining travellers may be revised based on the updated occupancy and travel arrangements. Train/flight tickets, permits and all other non-refundable third-party expenses will be deducted separately wherever applicable. No refund shall be provided for unused services, early departure, late arrival, or voluntary withdrawal after the commencement of the tour. HikeSike reserves the right to modify or interpret this policy, and the decision of HikeSike regarding cancellation, rescheduling, refunds, or any exceptional circumstances shall be final and binding.
